Jessica M. Embry, APRN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatric palliative care at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. Meggan Mikal-DeMont is a nurse practitioner of the Pediatric Advance Care Team at Advocate Children’s Hospitals in Oak Lawn, IL and Lightways community based pediatric palliative and hospice care. Meggan completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing degree at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. She is dually certified as both a pediatric clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner. She completed her Masters in 2010 and Doctorate in 2020 at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.
