She completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and a pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital, both in St. Louis, MO. She earned her bachelor's and medical degrees through a combined BA/MD program at University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Leadbetter is board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. She has a special interest in neonatal and perinatal palliative care and is a member of the pediatric palliative care team at SIU.
