Ashley Rodriguez
Ashley M. Rodriguez is the Chair of the American Public Health Association’s Community Health Worker Section where she leads national efforts to promote CHWs’ work and support their professional development. Mrs. Rodriguez is the co-state representation of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas where she advocates for Hispanic women in public health. Ahsley is the co-Act North Texas Board Member and Texas Public Health Association Executive Board, Founder of the Arlington Latino Resource Coalition, co-Founder of the Texas Association of Promotores and Community Health Workers. Mrs. Rodriguez has worked extensively in community preparedness, infectious disease, and epidemiology. She is an experientially certified CHW and CHW instructor in Texas, having developed and delivered CHW education programs through the McKesson Institute of Community and Health. Ashley Rodriguez is recognized as a leader in community and public health based on her two decades of experience in health equity, social determinants of health, and innovative Community Health Worker (CHW) programs. She has received the Latina Poderosa of the Year and Fellow Texas Public Health Association awards for her services and leadership.
Leticia Boughton Price
Leticia Boughton Price, CHW, LCSW is the Co-Executive Director of the Illinois Community Health worker Association, where she is responsible for sustaining and growth the first Community Health Worker (CHW) Association in Illinois. Leticia was first recipient of the CHW of the Year Award. She is a licensed clinician with experience assisting clients with anxiety symptoms, depression, infertility, grief and loss, reduced motivation, low self-confidence, and more.
