Marial Biard, MM, MT-BC, NMT-F works at Texas Children's Hospital serving as Internship Director, Practicum Site Director, Staff Choir Director, and Research Clinician. Marial is a certified Neurologic Music Therapist and one of the first Neurologic Music Therapy Fellows in Pediatrics in the world. She chairs the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy’s Pediatrics Focus Forum. Marial also serves on faculty at University of Houston lecturing for the Katherine P. McGovern College of the Arts. An active member of American Music Therapy Association Marial gives back to her field by serving as SWAMTA Region's Conference Chair and as the National Co-Chair of the Pediatric Work Group. Marial is a multi-published author whose research has been recognized and awarded internationally. She is also a recipient of the AMTA Harmony Award for her work regarding National Disaster Relief and Psychosocial First Aid intervention. In her spare time she loves to travel and practice yoga. Ashby Gleditsch is pleased to serve the children and families of Houston and beyond through her role as Child Life Media Producer at Texas Children’s Hospital. Ashby graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Film and Digital Media and harnessed her passion for children’s media to launch the Kids’ Own Studio Child Life Media program in 2015. The studio’s channel, ZTV, broadcasts to 900+ patient rooms daily! Her work has been featured on local news and social media publications. She oversees numerous partnerships for ZTV including Broadway, the Houston Texans, and the Houston Rodeo. In 2019, Ashby was honored to be selected as a Texas Children’s Hospital Disney Team of Heroes Service Trainer. When she is not directing and filming in the studio, you can find her exploring Houston, baking cakes, or at an Astros game
